FMI is among the Best Places to Work in Academia
As The Scientist announced in this month's issue, the Friedrich Miescher Institute for Biomedical Research is among the finalists of the 10th annual Best Places to Work in Academia survey. It is ranked 18th globally and 2nd in Europe.
The survey has asked academic researchers to highlight the aspects of work they value the most, as well as areas they wish their institutions would improve. In this year's survey, researchers around the world said they valued the personal satisfaction their workplace offers above all else. At the FMI the survey particularly highlights the research resources and the excellent infrastructure and environment.
