WELCOME TO THE FMI POSTDOC WEBSITE
The FMI is an excellent place to obtain a comprehensive
postdoctoral training. It offers a well developed scientific infrastructure
(DNA sequencing, protein analysis, animal facility, transgenic mice
production, IT support and a well equipped microscopy and imaging core
facility), good living conditions and an English-speaking international
work force. Amongst other things these might be the reasons that the FMI
was evaluated best place to work as a postdoc outside the USA by "The
Scientist", an American magazine of the life sciences (link).
This site is intended to provide some of the important
information that you might need as a current or future postdoc at the FMI.
