Applications

Presently the main activities of the facility are:

• identification and quantification of proteins in mixtures at high sensitivity, using nano-LC-MSMS
• identification and quantification of covalent modifications
• characterization of isolated proteins

We analyze proteins out of solution or separated by PAGE to identify, for example, the members of a protein complex, or to identify post-translational modifications like phosphorylation, glycosylation, methylation, acetylation, ubiquitinylation or sumoylation.
